WESTconsin Credit Union is thrilled to be named one of the top places to work in the country on Forbes’ America’s Best Small Employer list. WESTconsin ranked 156 among 300 companies nationwide with 200-1,000 employees. Only two other Wisconsin financial institutions made the list. Community banks and credit unions made up 10% of the top ranked companies.
“As a non-profit cooperative, WESTconsin is able to take our profits and invest them back into our employees through great benefits, better wages, and development opportunities,” said Lora Benrud, CEO of WESTconsin Credit Union. “More than 20% of our employees have been with WESTconsin for 10 years or longer. Our culture, genuine investment in our employee’s success, and focus to Inspire Better is what makes our credit union such a great place to work.”
Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to rank companies based their reputation, engagement, retention, benefits, and more. From an initial pool of 10,000 businesses, only 300 made the list.
