WESTconsin Credit Union Will Provide Free Document Shredding Services

WESTERN, WI— Add document shredding to your spring-cleaning list! WESTconsin Credit Union is offering free, community shred events in the area. Prepare for the new season by taking steps to protect your identity, and securely dispose of sensitive documents at one of the following times:

Tuesday, May 24

• New Richmond office, 121 Meridian Drive, 1-2 p.m.
• Hudson office, 1601 Maxwell Drive, 3-4 p.m.

Thursday, May 26

• Menomonie-North office, 2414 Hils Court, 1-2 p.m.
• Altoona office, 1395 Bluestem Blvd, 3-4 p.m.

Services are free of charge and being performed by ShredAway. There is a limit of two cubic foot sized boxes/bags. Contact ShredAway at (715) 835-0811 for additional shredding needs.

WESTconsin Credit Union has been serving members since 1939, and membership is open to anyone who lives or works in the Wisconsin counties of Barron, Buffalo, Burnett, Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Rusk, St. Croix, Sawyer, Taylor, Trempealeau, and Washburn, or the Minnesota counties of Anoka, Chisago, Dakota, Goodhue, Isanti, Pine, Ramsey, Wabasha, and Washington, with a $5 minimum deposit in a Membership Savings Account. Credit unions are financial institutions owned by their accountholders, and member funds are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to at least $250,000.
